By accessing or using WordSpark ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WordSpark is an AI-enhanced creative writing platform that provides:

• A rich text editor for long-form fiction
• AI-powered Story Bible extraction and management
• AI Chat for manuscript-grounded Q&A
• Contradiction detection and continuity tracking
• Import and export capabilities
• Cross-device synchronization

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service
• One person or entity per account

4. Subscription and Payment

Pricing

• WordSpark Pro: $25/month
• 14-day free trial included with new accounts

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period
• No refunds for partial months

Trial

• The free trial provides full access to all features
• No credit card required to start
• Trial converts to a paid subscription only if you choose to subscribe

5. Your Content

Ownership

You own your content. WordSpark does not claim any ownership rights to your manuscripts, Story Bible data, or any other content you create using the Service.

License to Us

You grant WordSpark a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Export

You may export your content at any time using the built-in export features. This right persists regardless of your subscription status.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

7. AI Features

• AI features process your manuscript to provide Story Bible extraction, chat responses, and contradiction detection
• AI responses are generated based on your content and may not always be accurate
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated insights
• AI features do not constitute professional editing or publishing advice

8. Limitation of Liability

WordSpark is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

• Loss of data beyond what our backup systems can recover
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time
• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, you retain the ability to export your content for 30 days

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
